Honey-Lemon Ginger Tea

Rated as 4.1 out of 5 Stars

"I visited a coffee shop in Hartford on a cold winter day and ordered their honey lemon ginger tea. It was tart, sweet, full of flavor, and warmed me from head to toe. The proprietor was nice enough to give me a rough description of her recipe. After a few tries at home, I came up with this close version."

This sounds like just what I was looking for to warm me up on a cold Sunday in February. Thanks!

Really good recipe for the basis of ginger tea. I did lower the amount of brown sugar to 1/4 cup for 4 cups water (which is only about 3 servings btw). I also only used half a lemon. Came out wo...

Tasted great. Love the strong ginger taste.

Love this tea. Made this exactly as recipe specifies. I wouldn't change anything and I have tried many lemon tea recipes.

This was good but very, very strong in taste

What a warming tea! I used 1/2 cup of brown sugar instead of 3/4 and it was still too sweet for me. So sweet I didn't get to put the honey in it. Next time, WAY less brown sugar. Maybe none ...
