Cherry Pie Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Mix butter and margarine until fluffy. Add flour, powdered sugar and vanilla just until combined and a soft dough is formed.
  2. Roll the dough into two-inch balls. Place on greased baking sheet or baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Press thumb into center of cookie to make a well. Place cherries into each cookie.
  3. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Allow cookies to cool. Melt chocolate according to package directions. Drizzle over cookies. Let chocolate set and serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. The cookie itself was very bland. The only real taste was the cherry.

I made these cookies with homemade apple pie filling and drizzled caramel on top. I used shortening instead of margarine. I had to increase the time to 22 minutes, not sure why. I made 25 cook...

These are pretty simple to make and delicious. My whole family enjoys them. I make the recipe exactly the way the recipe reads. The only thing I do differently is I add peach pie filling. Cherry...

The cookie is extremely bland. The cherry pie filling helped with taste on top but honestly its pretty bad.
