  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 12 muffin cups or line with paper liners.
  2. Stir flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl. Mix pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract together in a separate bowl until smooth. Add flour mixture to pumpkin mixture and stir until batter is well mixed. Fill muffin cups with batter, about 1/3 cup per cupcake.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 20 minutes. Cool cupcakes in the pan for 20 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

This is a pumpkin pie like "cupcake" that is seen all over pinterest during the fall months. It is good but it is not cake like and there is nothing noting that this is not your typical pumpkin ...

I did not care for the texture: too, too moist, just a little less than pumpkin pie itself. Used muffin liners, did not remove easily, they stuck.

This recipe is terrible! Do not try. They never cook.

I did not care for this recipe. It was too moist and needs more flour in order to make it a cupcake.

These are good. They almost taste like mini pumpkin pies only not quite as sweet. I will bake them just a minute or two longer next time as they tasted slightly 'wet'. They do not taste or feel ...

these taste great but they are so moist; and when I took them out of the oven they had great height to them but add they cooled they sunk.

Added mini milk chocolate chips! Yummy!
