Upside-Down Double Apple Coffee Cake

Although I'm typically not a baker, this recipe appealed to me and I gave it a try today. I am so glad I did - we loved it!! The only change I made, after reading the reviews, was to use 1/2 cup of butter rather than 1/4 cup. It was delicious from the warm apples in step 2 through the final result.
