  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Heat butter, olive oil, and garlic in a saucepan over low heat until butter is melted; stir in Diamond Crystal(R) Fine Sea Salt and pepper. Toss potatoes in butter mixture until evenly coated. Roast to desired doneness, 30 to 35 minutes.


  • We like our fries pretty crunchy and a little burnt looking, so we start checking them after 30 minutes. Sometimes they need a little more time.

Delicious! I used a clove or two more garlic than called for and a bit more salt. These reminded me of potatoes that my mom used to make for us growing up...Sooooo tasty! A definite keeper~YUM! ...

These fries were really good. Very easy to make. I put melted butter and all other ingredients into a plastic bag and rubbed all over the potatoes. Saved washing a pan. Turned out very well.

My fries came out great the kids liked them. The smaller you get them the crispier.

Made these tonight to go along with cheeseburgers and corn. Easy to make and so much better than store bought frozen ones! Thank you for sharing :)
