  1. Beat cream in a chilled glass or metal bowl with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
  2. Beat confectioners' sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves together in a chilled bowl with an electric mixer until smooth and glossy. Fold whipped whipping cream into the butter mixture until the color is consistent. Lightly fold pumpkin puree through the cream mixture. Stir water into the frosting to thin to your desired, spreadable consistency.
