  • Beat the cream cheese with 1 cup of sugar and the vanilla extract in a medium bowl until smooth.

  • Unroll the cans of crescent roll dough, and use a rolling pin to shape each piece into 9x13 inch rectangles. Press one piece into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture into the baking dish, then cover with the remaining piece of crescent dough. Stir together 3/4 cup of sugar, cinnamon, and butter. Dot the mixture over the top of the cheesecake.

  • Bake in the preheated oven until the crescent dough has puffed and turned golden brown, about 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and drizzle with honey. Cool completely in the pan before cutting into 12 squares.

Tips

Cook's Tips

You know to spray PAM on baking sheets, but you can also spray it on measuring cups so sticky stuff like molasses, honey, and peanut butter pours out easier.

This couldn't be easier to make and it's so delicious! I made half the amount because I'm just cooking for me. And I'm glad I did - I think I'd be tempted to eat the entire pan at once! I used half the can of dough on the bottom then used the other half on top. Note that the dough will not fill the full space of a 9x9 pan but they still came out great. I only lined my pan with parchment because the dough didn't fill the whole pan and I was afraid the filling would leak out onto the pan (it didn't). But I still used Pam to be sure none it would stick, and everything came out really easily! Read More

A super simple recipe using a handful of everyday ingredients. If you feel that the top crust will be a bit tricky just roll out the crescent rolls between two pieces of parchment paper to fit your baking dish. Remove one piece of parchment, place the dough on top and peel away the other piece of parchment. As a change of pace we like to drizzle caramel over the top in place of honey. If you want to impress last minute dinner guests this is it. CandelB thank you for this great recipe. *Update* I'm not a big fan of refrigerated crescent rolls however they work really well in this recipe. I have made this with Splenda in place of the sugar and it works just as well. Read More

YUMMM! These are so easy, and so good! If you want to make them super-easy, use one can of dough, lay it out on a large sprayed baking sheet, press half of it down slightly, spread half of your cheesecake filling on the pressed side, and fold over the remaining half of dough to top it, stretching it slightly to fit. Then, repeat. Instead of using butter, I sprinkled the cinnamon sugar over the top, and sprayed it with a little more PAM. They baked beautifully! For perfect squares, cut with a pizza cutter once completely cooled. Read More

What a quick and easy dessert, that uses things that I almost always have on-hand! Crescent roll dough can be a bit sticky at times, but I just dusted my work surface and the rolling pin with a bit of flour, and that problem was solved. Don't worry if your dough doesn't fit perfectly into the pan, just make sure that you only spread the cream cheese layer just over the dough. My top dough was odd-shaped, and not the exact same size as the bottom, but I just laid it loosely on top, even wrinkling it in areas, and it still turned out perfect! Will make this one again! Thanks! Read More

Made these for our bbq today, the family LOVED Them!! I actually added the cinnamon/sugar to the top of the cheese layer and a little bit to the top. Dinner was o n the sweet side of course with bbq sauce slathered ribs, so I'm glad I used about 1 1/4 cups of sugar. Tasted terrific! Thank you CandelB ::)) Read More

This is in our top 10 favorite recipes of all time! My husband requests it often! The only change that I have come to more recently make is to spread the butter mixture (only using 1/4 cup of butter) onto the top layer of crescent roll dough rather than just dotting it. Read More
