  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.

  • Spread 1/2 teaspoon butter over the cut-side of each cabbage wedge.

  • Mix Parmesan cheese, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper together in a bowl; sprinkle over the buttered sides of the cabbage wedges. Wrap a slice of bacon around each wedge and wrap wedges individually in heavy aluminum foil.

  • Grill cabbage until tender in the middle and the bacon is crisp, turning once, about 40 minutes.

Very good! I skipped the bacon in favor of adding additional butter to the packets. I also added sliced onion to each packet and used celery salt instead of salt. Baked the packets in my Ninja 4-in-1 multi-cooker for about 1.5 hours. I served the wedges in the foil to enjoy the buttery seasoning at the bottom. I will make these again. Read More

The first time I made this the bacon was undercooked but the flavour of the cabbage was delicious. The next time I made it I partially cooked the bacon ahead of time before wrapping it around the cabbage. This simple step was a big improvement. Read More
