This is a DIY version of popcorn seasoning. The smoky and sweet flavors of this snack are almost BBQ-like. Make it as spicy as you like!

Ingredients

  • cup vegetable oil

  • 3 tablespoons honey

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 (2.9 ounce) bag microwave popcorn, popped

Directions

  1. Stir oil, honey, paprika, cayenne pepper, and black pepper together in a small, microwave-safe bowl. Heat on high until the honey is melted, about 30 seconds; stir.

  2. Pour popped popcorn into a large serving bowl. Drizzle oil mixture over popcorn and toss to coat.

Cook's Note:

If you are using plain popcorn, add salt to oil mixture.
