  1. Place a steamer insert into a saucepan and fill with water to just below the bottom of the steamer. Bring water to a boil; add green beans, cover, and steam until tender, 2 to 6 minutes.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook pecans in melted butter until lightly browned; add green beans and stir to coat in butter. Season beans with salt.

A very tasty dish that gave life to French cut green beans.

Followed recipe exactly. Easy to make and delicious. Not too much butter. The pecans added a nice crunch.

Nice change from our regular version. I added a little extra butter after adding the green beans and a little pepper too. it hit the spot. Thanks for the recipe.
