  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Spread almonds onto a baking sheet.
  2. Toast almonds in the preheated oven until golden and fragrant, about 10 minutes. Cool completely.
  3. Stir cabbage, cranberries, celery, green onion, red bell pepper, and toasted almonds together in a large bowl.
  4. Whisk mayonnaise, honey mustard, honey, basil, salt, and pepper together in a small bowl until dressing is thick and creamy. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture and stir to coat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate until flavors combine, about 3 hours.

  • You can substitute walnuts for the almonds. You can substitute green bell pepper for the red bell pepper.

Nice change from the traditional cole slaw with a mayonnaise dressing. I didn't have any honey mustard, so I just used regular mustard and added more honey...worked fine. Enjoyed the sweetness...

Good variation of coleslaw. I ended by adding some chilli to the drrssing for a little warmth.

I was looking for a quick slaw recipe. Substituted 1 tbsp Dijon mustard and used 2 tbsp honey with pre cut cabbage. Loved the flavour! Looking forward to making this whole recipe!

Best coleslaw! I followed the recipe without making any changes apart from using red cabbage.

Note: I'm rating the dressing. The dressing was easy and tasty (didn't have honey mustard so went with some fancy mustard I did have). Threw in some raisins and shredded cheese and it worked v...

Added relish, celery salt, yellow mustard and put in less sweetener.

This is our absolute favorite Coleslaw recipe, love it!
