Oatmeal Chia Seed Cookies

I cut the sugar by 1/3 and added a tsp of pure vanilla. They were still too sweet (next time I'll 1/2 the sugar and add a little more applesauce) and I found the best way to keep them together when I put them on the cookie sheet was to press them into balls in my hand, and then press onto the parchment paper. But once they were baked, and cooled, they stayed together well and tasted pretty good. I did not add chocolate (not a fan), but will probably add cranberries next time.
