Grilled Portobello Mushrooms with Blue Cheese

"Excellent idea for the grill! Anyone who loves mushrooms or blue cheese will love this recipe. When it is done, its like a mini gourmet pizza. This recipe goes well with grilled steak and grilled asparagus."

  1. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  2. Place mushrooms, gill-side up, on a work surface; fill each with 1 ounce blue cheese.
  3. Cook mushrooms, blue cheese-side up, on the preheated grill, rotating every 5 minutes, until mushrooms are tender and cheese is melted, about 20 minutes.
