  1. Mash fava beans in a bowl using the back of a spoon or pestle. Add onion, tomato, lemon juice, parsley, olive oil, salt, and garlic; mix well.

This is an easy, tasty, and healthy spread, wonderful served on toasted baguettes. Next time I would add additional chopped tomatoes. It doesn’t look too appetizing so that’s the only downside...
