  1. Place a steamer insert into a saucepan and fill with water to just below the bottom of the steamer. Bring water to a boil. Add broccoli, cover, and steam until tender, 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Mix steamed broccoli, bacon, butter, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.

Found this recipe uninteresting. I had thought the bacon would given it a bit of added flavour but it just didn't work for me. I will not try this again

Classic steamed broccoli...with bacon! Goes with any meat entree.

Really don't even need a recipe for this, but the suggestion to do something simple like this helped! Very tasty and easy!

Did exactly to the directions and turned out great. I didn't add the bacon because I served it with salmon but topped it with shredded Parmesan cheese.

Not ashamed to admit I’ve never steamed broccoli in my life before. This helped me realize it was so simple. Thank you!

Cooked mine 2 minutes too long. Stick to the directions.
