Kicked Up Sausage Meat Sauce

  • 1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed

  • ½ pound ground beef

  • 2 (24 ounce) jars RAGÚ® Old World Style® Traditional Sauce

  • ½ cup chopped onion

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 ounce Favorite pasta


  1. Heat a large, heavy pot over medium heat. Add the sausage, ground beef, and onion. Cook, stirring constantly, until the meat is completely browned.

  2. Stir in the Ragu® Old World Style® Traditional Sauce, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Serve hot with your family's favorite pasta!
