  1. Combine beef, potatoes, carrots, and onion in a slow cooker crock.
  2. Mix cream of mushroom soup, tomato sauce, onion soup mix, parsley, and pepper together in a bowl; pour over the beef mixture.
  3. Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours. Stir before serving.

I made this yesterday, it was the best beef stew ever!!!! I added 32 oz of beef broth, and added a whole 15oz can of tomato sauce, because I didn't want to waste it. I put in some celery also....

Subbed 8oz beef stock for the tomato sauce and then thickened with flour at the end, turned out delicious

Awesome screw recipe. Added a can of sweet peas and three Tbl. Spoon of flour to thicken the sauce. We will surely make this again.

Good stuff! It was a hit--added a can of diced tomatoes but that was the only change I made.
