Reviews for Easy Beef Stew for the Slow Cooker
Quite delicious although I did add a can of peas to it as well. Prep time was minimal and the outcome was phenomenal. I'll be making this again soon especially with the fall weather beginning to roll in.
I made this just as instructed except I used 2 Stella Artois instead of water. Amazing...,,
This is an excellent recipe, loved by all!!!! Definitely a keeper, the only change I made was I used my own spices as I did not have a packet of stew seasoning. Love, love, love it!!!
I made this but only used the gravy, stew seasoning, beef, water, carrots, onions, potatoes and water. I also added extra water and about 5 cloves of garlic. This is now my families only stew recipe.
This came out really good. I used beef broth instead of water and added frozen peas 30 minutes before it was done
Great taste. I didn't have any dry brown gravy mix so I substituted dry mushroom gravy mix. Will definitely make again.
Definitely make it again. Not enough time for slow cooker so put everything in the pressure cooker for 20 minutes. Quick and delicious. Used shin meat and it was melt-in-the-mouth tender.
It was delicious. I've made slow cooker stew before but the meat from this recipe was the most tender and flavourfull ever.
I made the recipe exactly as written, and oh wow was this absolutely delicious! I plan on making this again and again. Fantastic!
Used Mrs. Dash no-salt Pot Roast Seasoning in place of beef stew seasoning. Cooked on LOW for about 9 hours. Thickened with cornstarch at the end resulting in a nice gravy. Served over white rice. Good taste and really easy to assemble.
Very good and easy. Added sliced mushrooms and extra celery (my favorite) also wanted a thicker stew so added cornstarch last hour. Served with fresh baked rolls. YUM
I made this stew recently and did not make any changes and it is great loved the flavor I would recommend make this one.
First time making this recipe and it turned out great! I did double the meat, carrots, celery, and onion, and added sliced mushrooms 1 hr prior to finish and my company raved about it! Will definitely make this again..
Silly question... do I drain the stewed tomatoes? I'm making this tomorrow.
Loved it!!! Just like my momma made when I was young!!
I followed the ingredients just upsized them. This is by far the best, most convenient, so tasty slowcooked beef stew recipe i have ever tried. I come home from work, and it is ready for me.Thank you so much for sharing Megan.
The recipe came out perfectly. No changes were made!
Delish ! Simple to prepare and so good to eat - we ate ours over egg noodles, brown rice would have been good with it, too. I didn't have the gravy mix packet so I subbed an onion soup mix packet , also subbed beef broth for the water, and added a dash of garlic powder, it was so thick and yummy, will definitely make again !
A other great recipe. I browned my meat and sheered my onions and celery prior to putting them in the slow cooker. I added more potatoes and used lipton onion soup mix to the broth. Cooked according to the direction and served over rice. No t time, I'll put it over a bed of homemade mash potatoes. Good eating
delicious but I added more veggies
Made it and wow! So easy and so good!
