  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Stir white sugar and butter chunks together in a bowl with a spoon; add flour and baking powder. Slowly add milk to flour mixture while stirring until batter is just moistened. Spread batter into a 9x13-inch baking dish. Pour melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon evenly over the top.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven until golden and set, 20 to 25 minutes.

The name says it all, this was definitely a flop. Butter pooled on top and it never browned, even after baking it an extra 10 minutes. So greasy I actually blotted the butter with a paper towel....

This is very simple to make and tastes wonderful! Almost like a coffee cake. Not too sweet and not bland! A perfect one for coffee!
