Original recipe yields 16 servings (16 serving)
- Bring apricot nectar to a rolling boil in a saucepan; remove from heat. Stir apricot-flavored gelatin into nectar until dissolved. Pour gelatin mixture into a serving bowl and refrigerate until set, 8 hours to overnight. Top dessert with whipped cream about 2 hours before serving.
- Cook's Note:
- You can do this with any flavor nectar and Jell-O® (regular or sugar-free). Even mix flavors for fun! Apricot's our favorite.
- My dad and mother-in-law are diabetic, so I make this with sugar-free Jell-O®, fruit nectar, and lite Cool Whip® and they enjoy a small bowl of it and love the sweet treat.
