  1. Place beets in a sealable container. Pour vodka over beets, seal container, and shake vigorously. Place container in a cool, dark place and store for 3 days, shaking twice per day.


  • Cook's Note:
  • Be careful when preparing, as beet juice can stain. Around here it's pretty much held that beet vodka makes a superior Bloody Mary.

We loved it in Bloody Marys! Use the leftover beets to make borscht. Fabulous!
