  1. Place meat, squash, pineapple and onions in slow cooker.
  2. Top with Simmer Sauce; cover.
  3. Cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours (or on HIGH 3 to 4 hours).
  4. 15 min. before serving, remove liquid with ladle from slow cooker; set aside.
  5. Stir in Finishing Sauce and spinach. Add some of the reserved liquid to desired consistency.
  6. Cook, covered, on HIGH 15 min.


  • Tips:
  • Top with sliced green onions.
  • Serve over hot cooked grits, rice, noodles or polenta.
  • Substitute peeled sweet potatoes for squash.
