My family enjoys this in place of red sauce because they don't do cooked tomatoes. For an extra kick on pizza they like 1/4 tablespoon of crushed red peppers.

4.21.20 I think this is one of those recipes that you just need to adapt to your own personal taste. It blended into a very nice sauce with good consistency. For me, I’ll probably add just a little more tomato paste to thicken it a bit, and add some more spices, basil at a minimum. It worked well on a mini naan pizza for lunch today.
