Hot Vidalia® Onion Dip
"Ever since my friend Sonja made this and brought it into work, it is my signature appetizer dish to take to parties! I tweaked it a little to my taste. It is the first appetizer to go and everyone will be asking for the recipe! Serve with crackers or sliced bread. Absolutely delicious!"

Original recipe yields 32 servings (4 cups)
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- Stir onion, mayonnaise, Cheddar cheese, and sugar together in a pie plate.
- Bake in preheated oven until bubbly and brown around the edges, 25 to 30 minutes.

This was overly sweet for an onion dip. Next time I will totally eliminate the sugar.
Great dip but I agree don't add the sugar. I also added fresh ground pepper. The dip is good hot or cold.
