Cheese Garlic Croutons

"Great on a salad. All of my family save there bread then bring there old bread to me. I freeze the bread then when we all run out of croutons. I will make a batch up."

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Put bread cubes in a large bowl; drizzle with melted butter. Toss to evenly coat. Spread onto a baking sheet.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven until croutons are crisp, 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Mix Parmesan, salt, paprika, and garlic powder into a bowl; sprinkle over croutons. Toss to coat.

Delicious! I wasn't sure how the seasonings were gonna stick after the bread was already toasted, but the addition of the cheese helped the seasonings to coat each crouton nicely. I just eyeball...

A very good, simple crouton. I melted the butter and put the cubes and seasonings in a bag, poured the butter over top and shook to coat. Toasted in the oven after seasoning. Came out great and ...

Excellent recipe, will be my go to. Next time I will cut salt to 1/2 tsp. Way too salty for me and I used garlic powder. Otherwise easy perfect.

11-06-15 ~ Quick and easy croutons. The flavor was very good, but I had trouble getting the garlic cheese mixture to stick to the cubes. I would make this recipe again.
