We really enjoyed this! I only gave it 4 stars bc I did change it a bit. I added 3 carrots (about half a cup) which definitely improved the flavour & texture. My turnip yielded about 6 cups and the ratio between turnip, carrot & apple was well received by all, ages 1-51!
Instead of using a turnip I wonder if you meant to use a rutabaga? I used 1/2 a rutabaga and 3 small turnips. They went successfully with the apples. I didn't use the topping I'm not that fond of that much sweetness for my vegetables. It is what the recipe says a turnip/apple dish!
