  1. Arrange bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
  2. Heat butter beans, bacon, butter, and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbling, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

These were just okay for us. I made them as directed and they came out on the dry side. The flavors were nice, but I think a little more liquid would help.

Holy cow this was good!!! I used extra bacon (always good) and probably a bit extra brown sugar. It could easily be addictive!!!

Loved it. Cooked it tonight my husband and kids enjoyed eating veggies and they were not from a can. Thanks will cook again.
