  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Mix potatoes, mozzarella cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, butter, onion, salt, and black pepper together in a casserole dish.
  3. Bake in preheated oven until hot throughout and bubbly on top, about 30 minutes.

Too greasy, so I made again and I cut the butter or margarine in half. I also topped it with gluten free bread crumbs as I am gluten intolerant. My husband loved the second batch.

i been using this for years. but ontop i put 2 cups of frosted flakes, mixed with a 1/4 a cup of butter. also i used potatoe obrien.

Turned out great! The only thing I did differently was use half mozzarella and half colby-jack cheese. Everyone loved it!
