  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat the inside of a 9x13-inch baking dish with olive oil.
  2. Stir mayonnaise and water together in a bowl. Place bread crumbs in a separate bowl.
  3. Dip tofu slices in the mayonnaise mixture; press tofu into the bread crumbs until fully coated. Place coated tofu in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until tofu is fully cooked and breading is browned, about 45 minutes.

This is an easy simple way to cook tofu. We found that we can substitute the mayo for any sauce and it works. We're loving the versatility of this recipe.

I tried it, it was easy to make, but it was disgusting, I think if the tofu was marinaded it would be a good recipe.

Delicious way to have tofu. I used Panko bread crumbs since their vegan rather than making my own. I marinated it in bbq sauce before breading it. Because of the bbq sauce I think I could have...
