  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt together in a large bowl. Stir applesauce, peanut oil, and water into flour mixture until dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Drop golf ball-sized spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven until biscuits are browned, 10 to 12 minutes.

They are good, but not what I was hoping for. You can't really taste the applesauce. Maybe a little more applesauce and use honey instead of sugar.

I took the advice of past reviewer and used all honey as sub for sugar. I also used canola oil. They turned out sweet and delicious!

flavor was pretty good. They are a bit dense, I would assume because of the whole wheat flour. Overall not too bad though.

Tastes great but it didn't come out the way it was according to the directions.

These turned out great, everyone liked them. 14 minutes was the perfect baking time. Only thing I need to change is the salt. They were very salty. Other than that there were no problems.
