  • Place instant coffee granules in a food processor and process into a fine powder.

  • Stir ground instant coffee, milk powder, cocoa mix, creamer, and confectioners' sugar together in a bowl until evenly mixed. Keep in an airtight container.

Cook's Notes:

If you have no spice grinder, you can place granules in a plastic food storage bag and crush with a rolling pin.)

Spoon into canning jar, add lids, and seal.

Attach a gift tag to each jar with these directions: "Café Mocha Mix in a Jar: Add 3 teaspoons to 6 ounces hot water for a warming treat!"

The flavor was more cafe and less mocha so I ended up adding more of the cocoa mix and even a little malted mix to achieve what I was looking for. Could just be a taste preference on my part or what flavors you're really looking for but this didn t work for me and I have several similar mixes that suit me better.
