  1. Mix flour, sugar, garlic powder, salt, rosemary and pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Place frozen vegetables in bottom of slow cooker. Sprinkle with flour/spice mixture. Add stew meat, wine, bay leaf and tomatoes.
  3. Place lid on slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 4 to 6 hours or on LOW for 8 to 10 hours. Remove bay leaf before serving.

Our favorite slow cooker recipe! I used red wine instead of water and also added some beef boullion. You can also substitute tomato sauce for the diced tomatoes. Delicious!

Taste-wise, it is quite good. However, I think there is not enough liquid in the recipe. I needed to add about a cup or more of liquid to make it not dry out.
