  1. Set oven control to broil on low. In 2-quart saucepan, mix cooking sauce and meatballs over medium heat. Cover and cook 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until hot.
  2. Place open buns on large cookie sheet. Fill each with 6 meatballs; spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons sauce over meatballs. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup cheese. Place under broiler 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with bell pepper and onion.


  • Try sliced cheese in place of shredded.
