Simple Creme Brulee Dessert
Rich, creamy creme brulee should still be jiggly in the center when you pull it out of the oven.

This creme brulee was super fast and easy and turned out to be so good, without double broiling or straining..! It made 4 servings for me because I used the shallow, 3 oz, creme brulee ramekins and it took only 30 minutes for the creme to set. I added 1 tablespoon of brown sugar to the 2 tablespoons of white sugar for better "bruling ". Also, my torch was out of butane, so I broiled the chilled creme, 6 inches away from the heat source, for 3 minutes and then put back in the fridge for 15 minutes to harden the sugar crust.

So this recipe works quite well. I like the microwave solution for heating the cream. Be sure to use 35% whipping cream, and if you have vanilla bean at home, it adds a more interesting dimension as opposed to vanilla extract. Just shave some of the bean into the cream when heating it up.
I made crème brulé for my husband and I for the first time tonight. I used this recipe and I was super easy and delicious!
The taste is exquisite. I followed the directions and subbed some homemade lavender extract for the vanilla extract. Perfect. Dressed it with a couple of raspberries and boom! Christmas eve dessert. Thanks.
Super easy to make to lighten the caloric load (I know purists will be shocked) instead of heavy cream use condensed milk a great alternative.
Didn’t have a torch so I used the broiler setting in my oven and watched it real close until it was just like I like it... it was super yummy!!! MY FAVORITE!!!
Super easy! After reading several recipes I changed this one up a bit. I added a few dashes of Nutmeg and a shot of Butterscotch Schnapps. Yum!
This is a great , easy recipe. I multiplied it by 6, as the family was coming. I only had 2 cups whipping cream, so I used 4 cups coffee cream. They came out perfectly and only took 40 minutes in a 6 ounce ramekin. My son had 3, and my hubby keeps sneaking to the fridge. He knows how to use the torch now. I’m going to be asked to make this again.
So simple and delicious! I didn't have to adjust for my older oven or higher elevation. Perfect recipe no matter what your cooking needs are. I even got this accomplished with my 2 year old helping. Great for little helpers to help prep.
I made it with sweetened condensed milk instead for cream and sugar. It turned out awesome though. 10/10 would recommend.
I love it! Super simple and easy! I did a half batch which I quickly regretted after eating both servings. I used Ball jars instead of ramekins though. And after I ran out of ramekins I used a ceramic bowl which really didn't change anything. I also added blueberries into the cups before baking and that really added a special taste. One more thing is I don't have a microwave so I heated it up on the stove which didn't seem to make a difference.
I'm SO happy I found this recipe, it's AMAZING! It's extremely easy and delicious. The only thing I changed, I put a tad more vanilla to my liking and I added orange extract. I've made it two times already in the last three days. I need to buy more ramekins so I can make more at a time. ??
This is the easiest creme brulee recipe I have tried so far and it comes out perfect every time. Today I used the Instant Pot to make this recipe and it came our perfectly! 13 on low pressure, 15 on natural pressure. Wrapped each ramekin in foil to prevent sogginess. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe!
super easy and tasted amazing this was my first time ever making a creme burlee and i had no trouble at all my husband loved it to
Wow! I thought creme brulee would be difficult to make! Just follow the simple directions and get wonderful results. I actually made the custard part 2 days before hand. I don't have a torch, but I was able to do the sugar topping part under the broiler. When I did this, I applied the sugar to the custards right after removing them from the fridge and immediately placed them under the broiler in a pan with water in it. The custards were pleasantly warm when the sugar topping was done.
Super easy to make and delicious. I will add extra vanilla next time for additional flavor.
Made as recipe, not bad, would have liked a little more creamy. Served for Thanksgiving (22 guests) ALL LOVED THEM!!
My first time making this. Super easy. Turned out great. Next time, I'll serve it with fruit or something.
This was so easy to make and ended up looking and tasting like something you'd get for dessert at a restaurant! I've always been somewhat intimidated by creme brulee but not anymore! Thank you!!
This worked exceptionally well. Served a Baileys Cream Liqueur on the side.
I have made this several times! super simple and easy for a beginner to the finer desserts. Haven't changed anything yet! When we get inundated with duck and chicken eggs this is how we use them up and enjoy at the same time! thank you!
This is so creamy and delicious, topped by the wonderful crunchy caramel topping, it makes a perfect ending to a meal. Sometimes the simplest recipes are the best.
Very easy and great recipe! Apparently my butane torch was too small because it took forever to caramelize the top of one so I put the other three in the oven to broil. That took longer than I thought it would but worked wonderfully.
Excellent and easy. I added a dash of cinnamon to the top for contrast, but outside of that I wouldn’t change a thing! I do need to buy a torch though. I used the broiler and kept a eye on them, turned out fine. YUMMY!
Crème Brulee is one of my favorite deserts and it is SO simple to make and easy to make. I used all different sizes of glass Pyrex containers to make it, and it turned out great no matter the size I used. It was so good and perfect. We did the sugar on the top and used a torch to caramelize it then added blueberries, blackberries and raspberry's to it. so good.
Mine had a taste that was a little off but I gave this one 5 stars anyway. The reason is because I did not have a kitchen torch, although I have one now, and I used a propane torch. The propane may have given me that off taste. This was the first time that I ever made Cream Brulee and I was surprised at how easy it was. I will make this again and if I still get an off taste with my new butane torch I will let you know.

Superb! Absolutely delicious and super easy! I followed the directions, the only thing I did different was I used homemade vanilla extract and on step 2 I saved 1 cup of the cream before microwaving to mix in with the yolks that way they would be easier to temper with the hot cream mixture.
This surprised me at how easy and delicious it was. I already had all of the ingredients on hand and loved making something I had never made before. Perfect consistency.
This was one of the best recipes I have ever made. So rich and creamy. Loved it. I will definitely make again and again.
I made 4 batches at once and heated the sugar and cream low over a stovetop. I let it cool before adding the egg yolk so as not to end up with bits of cooked egg in the custard. Turned out pretty good!
we made this but weren't able to use a torch for the top. instead we decided to use a broiler and it wasnt too bad but it cooked unevenly so if possible a torch would be much better for control. over all very good and tasty.
I didn't have a torch so I just broiled it in my oven and the tops came out beautiful! Definitely would recommend this recipe.
I loved how super easy this was! I did use a fresh vanilla bean and added it to the heavy cream mixture when it was heated in the microwave. This was so delicious, my hubby even loved it.
I made it just as the recipe says. It was done in 45 minutes and was perfect! I made 10 servings for a dinner group and everyone liked it. I put fresh raspberries on top. Using this method, I think it would be very difficult to ruin it. I will definitely make it again.
It was good, but needed only 45 mins. - my grandson 13 made them because it's his favorite dessert. He said it was very easy to make.
these turned out great. I didn't have a blow torch, but they were still delicious. Odd enough, all of my boys loved it, that never happens.
This turned out amazing!! It was rich, smooth, and creamy!! Will definitely be making again
LOVE IT! Everyone I have made this for loves it, it's soooo easy for a decadent dessert. Thank you for sharing this recipe!
Absolutely love the simple, easy to follow instructions! I made it a couple of days ago and today. Two things I increased slightly: sugar and heavy cream. Both increased just by a bit. For instance, I doubled the recipe because there were 4 of us... today I added an additional table spoon of sugar to the mix and half a cup of heavy cream. The change was simply to enjoy a sweeter taste, smoother texture. My husband is head over heels with the original recipe, as he doesn't enjoy things too sweet. Thumbs up! Thanks for sharing!
Always loved Creme Brûlée but never made it - Valentine’s Day plus the pandemic made me give it a try. Bought a torch at the hardware store and gave it a shot. So easy and really delicious!! Followed the recipe exactly - perfect !!
Very good. This is the first time I made this so I followed the directions as written. Next time, I’ll try some different things like chocolate, liquor and maybe fruits.
Super easy, just skim any froth you might get from whisking the cream off before poring into your ramekins. Mine were set in 30 minutes at 350 degrees oven temp. I did use fresh Madagascar vanilla bean instead of the extract. I let the kids torch their own, so of course it's a favorite at my house.
Simple and enjoyable. It does have a little too much "eggy" taste to it so I may reduce to 2 Egg Yolks instead of 3, but overall decent. Definitely room to play with.
First time I ever made creme brulee. Super easy and delicious .
made it but didn't add sugar on top and only did half but turned out well . the second time we added everything and was amazing
May need extra sugar and vanilla, but overall this is very tasty! I put a strawberry purée on top and it was delicious!
This was a very easy recipe and it was delicious. The only change I would make is to cut back on the heavy cream and maybe use half whole milk. I personally don’t enjoy the high fat taste of heavy cream. I also cooked it in my instant pot for about 15 minutes so it was a quick recipe as well!
This a great recipe! Quick and easy. I happened to have some vanilla paste and swapped it for the extract and it was delicious! Will make again!
Worked great. I loved the microwave to heat cream up. I didn't have correct dishes so I used 1/2 quart mason jars. Worked amazing.
So easy and so good. Will definitely make this again! Will try to add some different flavors, i.e white chocolate, etc. The easiest dessert I've ever made.
Super simple, tasty, and easy! I made no changes, but I do have to work on my torch technique!
This recipe was super simple and delicious!! I ate it at room temperature and it was still super good!
It was great! Ridiculously easy and ridiculously good. Highly recommended!
This was so easy and wanted to try a chocolate brulee. Add 1/4c of cocoa powder and garnish with fresh raspberry and mint. Awesome!
Crème brûlée’s is one of my guilty food pleasures. By design, the dish is decadent but looks imitating. This was one the easiest dishes I’ve ever made. I even found a recipe to make I own whipped cream!!!!
