- Mix in soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, black pepper, paprika, white pepper, dry mustard, ginger, cayenne pepper, and thyme; cook and stir until combined, 1 to 2 minutes. Add brown sugar and let bubble for 1 minute.
- Stir in chicken stock, ketchup, molasses, Dijon mustard, liquid smoke, and vinegar; simmer until thickened, 5 to 10 minutes. Cool and brush onto desired meat.

I used 3 tbsp smoked paprika instead of the liquid smoke because I didn’t have any. I also added another 1/2 cup of ketchup to thicken it up a bit. Pretty good flavor.
Liked this barbecue sauce a lot. It was sticky and tangy but not overly sweet. Matter-of-fact, not sweet enough. If I make it again I will add more brown sugar. Good basic recipe.
