  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly, breaking the meat up as it cooks, about 10 minutes. Drain excess grease and mix in taco seasoning. Stir in diced tomatoes with green chilies and ranch-style beans and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Place a large handful of tortilla chips on a serving dish and top with a ladle of the ground beef mixture. Repeat with remaining chips and meat mixture. Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of shredded Mexican cheese blend on each serving.

These were so good. I used ground chicken and gave it lots of seasonings. Nothing better then meat and cheese on cheese tortilla chips.

Most helpful critical review

Mediocre. I followed the directions with no modifications. Would be improved by adding chopped onion and serving with sour cream. That said, I do not plan to make this again.

The first time I made this was for my sister and brother-in-law. We loved it and it was so easy.

This was a very good recipe!

These were pretty good but needed salt to give more flavor. I make something similar all the time.
