Whisk mayonnaise, sugar, and rice vinegar together in a bowl; pour over broccoli mixture. Toss to combine. Sprinkle with cashews just before serving. Cook's Note: If you're not a fan of raw broccoli, a good idea is, before cutting up the broccoli, to place the heads in boiling water for 3 seconds. This gets rid of the raw taste. The stalks may also be included if desired. It doesn't really affect the taste.
