  • Form the mixture into six 3/4-inch thick patties and cook in a large skillet over medium heat until burgers are juicy and browned, 5 to 7 minutes per side. An instant-read meat thermometer inserted into the center of a patty should read at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).

I subbed carrot for mushrooms. I didn't have horseradish mustard so I used 1 T horseradish 1 tsp yellow mustard. These tasted fantastic but they were a tad bit salty and didn't hold together too well. Next time I make these I'll use two whole eggs instead of 4 yolks and reduce the salt to 2 tsp. Read More
