  • Heat a large skillet over high heat. Sear pork chops until browned, 1 to 2 minutes per side. Transfer pork chops to a slow cooker.

  • Mix brown sugar, ketchup, onion, and lemon juice in a bowl; spoon over pork chops.

  • Cook on Low until pork chops are very tender, 4 to 6 hours.

Cook's Note:

For faster cooking, you can also bake the pork chops in the oven at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes.
