Purple People Eater Punch

Rated as 5 out of 5 Stars

"This punch is great for Halloween parties. The little ones love it! I've been making it for years. After everyone gets over the visual effects, they can't wait to dive in! Substitutions: Lime sherbet and lemon/lime soda, strawberry sherbet and strawberry soda. You get the picture."

  1. Set up the cauldron in serving area and stir the grape sherbet and grape soda together in the cauldron until smooth. With tongs, carefully place the dry ice into the cauldron. It will sink to the bottom and cause the punch to bubble and smoke. Careful, dry ice is so cold it can burn if touched or ingested. Do not consume dry ice.

This was so easy & super fun!! Made it for a carnival at my son's elementary school. Not only were kids grabbed by it, but parents & super-cool-I'm-not-phased-by-anything high schoolers, too!!! ...

So fun! My first time dealing with dry ice, easy peasy. The kids loved the effect and the punch tasted great too! I couldn't find grape sherbet so I did a berry sherbet with strawberry soda.
