  1. Combine the olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt, rosemary, basil, and pepper in a skillet over medium heat; cook until the garlic begins to sizzle, about 5 minutes. Remove immediately from heat.

  • Cook's Note:
  • This recipe is also great as a cooking oil, but please slice garlic in half instead of mincing and remove it after it begins to sizzle, or it will burn. The garlic is only used to infuse the oil and if used for cooking purposes should be removed prior to cooking the entree.

OMG -- OUTSTANDING!! I took a Short Cut @ the 3rd time I made it and I use 'Italian' Seasoning now. 1/2 Cup of Olive Oil, 1 Heaping TBSP of Minced Garlic, 1 tsp of Italian Seasoning, Salt & Pepp...

I used Italian seasoning, a robust olive oil and didn’t heat it! It was great!
