Replaced - Blackened Steak Salad with Berry Vinaigrette

  1. Season steak and grill or sear to desired doneness and reserve.
  2. In a large bowl, mix lettuce, bell peppers, onion and tomatoes with rice vinegar and sea salt.
  3. Divide lettuce mixture on 2 plates; place sliced steak atop lettuce and garnish with cheese and roasted peppers; add Berry Vinaigrette dressing as desired.


  • Berry Vinaigrette
  • Combine 2 Tbsp. rice vinegar, 1 Tbsp. rice wine, 2/3 cup olive oil and 1 cup DOLE Frozen Mixed Berries, thawed, in blender container. Cover; blend until smooth. Season with salt and cracked pepper, to taste. Makes about 1 1/4 cup.

Nice summer refreshing and light salad... For the berries we had, we'd have been better off scaling back the vinegar in the dressing and the red onions by a bit. Both tended to overpower thing...
