"This is a side dish that my husband's family in the south has been eating with corned beef and cabbage for years. It's a great addition to this traditional meal. The potatoes act like a sponge, taking in the mustard flavor. YUM!"

  1. Whisk the water, yellow mustard, and salt together in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, and stir in the potatoes. Reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer until tender, 25 to 30 minutes. Drain liquid, and serve.

A great concept! I added a dash of ground mustard and some tumeric for extra color. Sprinkled with paprika to plate. Beautiful, fun, unique and delicious.

I adored...hubby just ate. Gave the taters a real pleasant flavor...and something different. Makes me wonder what other additions to potatoes would be good. Thanks for a great unique recipe!

I was excited to try this easy recipe, but was very disappointed. The potatoes tasted like plain boiled potatoes. I even added some spicy mustard to the recipe and still didn't get any flavor.
