Taco Slaw


A great slaw for tacos. The local taco truck serves their chicken tacos with cabbage, cilantro, and lime. This is my attempt to recreate their taco toppings.

  • ½ small head cabbage, chopped

  • 1 carrot, chopped

  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced

  • ½ red onion, minced

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

  • 1 lime, juiced


  1. Mix together cabbage, carrot, jalapeño pepper, red onion, cilantro, and lime juice in a bowl.
