A strawberry margarita with a little sparkle.

Very, very yummy. We use Strawberry Puree mix in place of the liqueur. We use either the Martini and Rossi Asti, Adnre's or Cooks Spumante for the champagne. **UPDATE** I gave this recipe to a friend to use for her son's wedding. She said it was very easy to increase the recipe yield and that it was a MAJOR hit! (Be careful though, you might find yourself dancing a little too enthusiastically after just a couple)Read More
Made to the recipe exactly, and tasted good but gave me and my guests terrible stomach aches after only a few drinks. I had to add ginger ale in order to make them less sweet.

Tasted amazing. I made it with strawberry margarita mix instead of stawberry liqueur, still tasted great! I made it for a coctail night with all the girls in the family! It was so good that the men of the family wanted to crash our party!
I live in Cincinnati with a great river/city view. Served these for an annual labor day fireworks show party we have. Everyone... Over 30 people loved these. Followed the directions exactly.
very good and easy too make. im not much of a tequila drinker, but these were definately yummy. really strong the perfect blend. had to walk (walk not drive) to the store and buy more ingredients because it went by so quick.
it was fantastic
This was an amazing margarita recipe... strong but still delicious... i made a huge batch of these for a football game/grill out and they were gone so quickly! Definately a new favorite!
Made this for a block party as each house had a signature drink and this was ours. Was loved by all who tasted it.
Freaking amazing. So delicious, refreshing, and different. I love it!
This cocktail was sooooooo good and very pretty. I served these yesterday at my Mother's Day get together and they were a hit like others stated before. As a note if you but a 1/5th of Tequila (750ml), the regular size Strawberry Pucker and the bottle of Champagne go ahead a buy 3 cans of the Limeade Concentrate. Don't cheap out ond get the store brand, go for the Minute Maid. 1 batch goes quickly and with the above bottle sizes you will be able to make 3 full batches. They are strong so be careful!!!! ***Just as a side note, Strawberry Pucker is the name on the bottle for Strawberry Liquer made by DeKuyper***
I've been using another recipe on here for awhile to make frozen strawberry margaritas, but this is very good for over the rocks. I think I might even try blending up some fresh strawberries next time to give it some pulp.
I used fresh strawberries when I made this and it was a little sweet but still delicious and flavorful!
Ehh...don't know what it was...I usually love strawberry margaritas...but this almost felt like there was something too much in it..possibly the champagne was out of place?
A-MAZ-ING. I swapped out the champagne for ginger ale as other reviewers suggested. We drank the entire pitcher at our "girls night in."
AMAZING!!! I made a batch with peach liqueur and a batch with the raspberry liqueur...they were a huge hit at the shower I gave last month.
I stirred this up in celebration of Cinco de Mayo and my husband and I LOVE it! I could not find the strawberry liqueur at either of my local package stores, so I substituted strawberry puree. Delicious!
This is my new favorite drink! I love a recipe that will make up a pitcher. It's perfect for any occasion...In fact I think I'll have to start making up reasons just to make this! Strawberry liqueur was impossible to find, so we just subbed margarita mix. I can see that drinking too much might give you a stomach ache. People that don't even like tequila like this. Make sure you use blanco.
Pretty good. We used strawberry puree like another user did instead of the liquor. I also like my margaritas ice cold, so I added in a frozen strawberry (they were fresh and I froze them myself) for a cute garnish.
Couldn't get the brand of alcohol for most of the items small town but it was excellent with the brands I picked up. Yes if you don't want a sweet drink avoid this, but this is just what I was looking for. Will be making for dinner parties I hold think my friends will love this one!
I made these twice now, once for a house party and the other time for a cookout. They got rave reviews! I made them exactly as shown, used Cook's champagne. Only thing I added was sliced strawberries to each glass. I have had many requests for this recipe...a keeper
this wasn't really a strawberry margarita to me
I had a big party and had Sauza Tequila so I made this. I am allergic to Strawberries and didnt have the liqueur so I pureed some strawberries someone brought, so this is a second hand review. Everyone raved about it. The favorite of the night was the Raspberry recipe on the site, but this was enjoyed as well. I will definitely make again.
Very tasty, we sprinkled a bit of Strawberry drink mix to add more red for more POP of color!
I substituted fresh sliced strawberries in place of the liquer (very difficult to find). The drink was so fresh and tasty, it really packs a punch so be carefull, don't drink and drive.
This was definitely our favorite drink. I made it for a group of friends and it was a big hit. Followed the recipe exactly.
Yum! These were SOOOOOO good. As others have noted, DO BE WARNED.... These pack a REAL punch! :) To my surprise, even my fruit-hating husband found these tolerable (hooray!)!!! And while my hubs and I both agree that a traditional margarita just can't be beat, this will be a nice change of pace for us every now and then. Purchase a cheap bottle of champagne (I used Cook's) and and anyone with a well-stocked bar can whip up a batch of fruity margaritas in no time flat! I actually recommend that you DOUBLE everything to make use of most of your bottle of champagne (FYI, opened champagne loses it's "fizz" if not consumed in a couple of hours). My neighbor and I had NO problem finishing off what was left of the double batch of margaritas I prepared lol. Now, that's a margarita! :-)
I used Sauza Blue Agave in this and it was really good. I love anything Strawberry so this really worked for me!
This was a definite hit! I did, however, make my own limeade with fresh squeezed limes, water, and stevia just to cut down some of the calories. I really love the addition of the champagne! It reminds me that this would make a great substitute for mimosas at Sunday brunch. The Tequila Silver was so smooth and it was nicely complimented by the other ingredients. I will be making this again!
This was delicious. Very strong, but also very flavorful and not too harsh to be a tasty drink. I made a few minor tweaks to make this into a frozen cocktail. I omitted the strawberry liquor and water, and instead used about a pound of freshly frozen whole strawberries. I put all ingredients into my Ninja Blender and mixed for about one minute. Turned out wonderful!
We won a margaria contest with this recipe! Subbed the liqeuer for strawberry margarita mixer. (There is still plenty of alcohol in it!) Also, it s crucial to make sure your champagne is dry not sweet! This drink is always a hit!
Huge hit at parties! My dad asked me to make it again for the next get together.
This was my favorite Sauza recipe! I blended the ice into the drink and loved how frothy it was. I will be making this one again!
Such a smooth tequila. Really fit the bill on this recipe. Definitely don't substitute.
I liked it but maybe too much Strawberry? I don't mean the recipe, I mean me, the one who made it! I was having fun pouring that. It's really good. Mine wasn't as bubbly as the others, still good. It was for a Sauza Tequila party and there are some side cars on my tray of the tequila. So smooth!
Delicious! All of the girls seemed to gravitate towards this one, lol. Made as written and would not change a thing~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)
BEST of the three I tested out during my Sauza Blue Silver Tequila "Shake It Up - Girls Night In" party!! Customized it a little to sub out the strawberry liquor with fresh strawberries, and it was the first to go. SO GOOD.
Fruity but not too sweet-I loved the addition of the sparkling wine! I ran out of limes so garnished with a lemon slice for color, but I did use the frozen limeade concentrate in the recipe. I also chose to freeze some strawberries in small ice cubes for garnish also, along with fresh strawberries. This is going to be a repeat drink for us!
