  1. Place the ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat, and cook and stir until the beef and onion are browned, 10 to 15 minutes. Break the meat apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  2. Place the browned beef mixture into a soup pot, and stir in hominy, corn, potatoes, green chilies, salsa, diced tomatoes, and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook until the potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Very Good, but I made it without the meat, I really don't care for ground beef except in a burger. To make up for the lack of meat I added the recommended salt, pepper, cumin and broth instead o...

Just awesome soup. Loved the flavor and colors. I didn't have any hominy, so I just added more corn. This was easy and delicious!

This was good! I used beef broth instead of water. It does take longer to cook than stated. Everyone loved it!

Absolutely no taste what so ever. I tried adding garlic and cumin and it was edible but very bland and not worth making again.

In lieu of ground beef, I used cubed pork, added 2 tbsps. cumin, 2 cloves garlic and omitted the hominy and salsa. Used chopped fresh roasted green chile (since I live in NM and always have it ...

Family loved it even my 4yr old. I did add season salt, cumin, garlic salt, and reg. salt. Just dashes of each. Amazing
