Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts II

My otherwise picky family ate ALL of them. Huge hit at a party. I added one tsp of soy sauce to the recipe. I cut the water chestnuts in half since each was the size of a walnut from the can. I also cut each strip of bacon into four pieces (vertically so 3 cuts across of equal size) and each was the perfect size to wrap the half water chestnut. I used the tip to cook first then drain some fat after about 15 min. Then I added the sauce and cooked for about 45 more min, definitely needed a longer cook time. Delicious!
