  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sour cream. Mix until smooth. Spread in a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. Sprinkle the pan's contents with garlic salt. Cover the mixture with a thin layer of picante sauce. Add another layer of tomatoes, onions and olives. Top with a layer of cheddar cheese. Chill for 30 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips.

easy and tasty

We love this recipe, have been making this dip for years! You can also top it with shredded lettuce, if you like.

This is a very basic layered dip. It called for too much garlic salt, in my opinion. I used probably less than 1 teaspoon, and it was plenty salty. If you wanted more garlic flavor, you could ad...
