  1. Combine the cubed potatoes, diced potatoes, broccoli, onion, milk, garlic powder, and chives in a slow cooker; cover, and cook on High for 4 hours.
  2. Stir the instant potato flakes and bread crumbs into the soup. Reduce heat to Low and simmer another 30 minutes. Serve hot.

Tasted ok, but very thick and did not look appealing

Terrible. Bland with a weird almost grainy consistency and way too many onions. Definitely will never make again.

Made this today. It wasn’t awful... But it was lacking something. The smell of it cooking all afternoon was scrumptious but as it cooked, I could tell the onions were going to be overpowering.....
