  1. Combine broth, sauce and half-and-half in medium saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat. When soup begins to simmer, add mushrooms; cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Stir in basil.

  • Tip: For a lighter version, use 1 cup whole milk in place of half-and-half.

Husband and I absolutely LOVED this soup! (And we arent big soup eaters) Will definately make again and again

I was pretty excited about this recipe and ended up a little disappointed. It was ok but a little thin for my tastes. I think if I make it again I will use cream instead of half and half.
